The Weeping Elm of Jevington

Part of my 100 Silences journey to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1. I filmed and recorded 100 silences at 100 warm memorials between Southampton and Dover and London, leaving soil from Arras, Ypres and Somme at each.

This is Jevington Church in Sussex, where in 1918 the vicar planted a Weeping Elm in memory of the fallen of WW1.
